Murder Mystery Dinner Package
Beginning in March, the 3rd Saturday of every month, the Iron Gate Inn will offer a Murder Mystery Package which includes dinner at the Inn . . . As of January 31, there are two couples signed up for the next Murder Mustery on 03/17. There's room for three more couples. Rooms are all $99/couple.
Arrive at the Inn between 5:30pm and 6:30pm for light hors d'oevres. Tours and breakfast orders are taken during this time.
Then at 6:30 Guests will be seated for a full dinner including soup or salad, fresh bread basket, choice of entrees w/ sides and an indulgent dessert complete with turkish coffee . . . Dinner is $49.95/couple.
The Murder Mystery then starts at 8:00pm. Remember, you have the right to be silent - forever at the Iron Gate Inn's "Hearts & Homicide" where everyone is a suspect! All props will be furnished by the Inn. It's good (but certainly not required) to bring some clothing appropriate for your character - after all who wants to see a DEAD CORPSE out of character??? Character cards to be given to you in advance to get familiar with your part. Someone's done something very very bad and it's your job to figure out . . . who done it!
The Murder Mystery takes about and hour and a half and should end sometime between 9:30 and 10:00pm. Professional actors need not apply!! After a fun evening of mystery and intrigue, Guests may retire to their rooms for cozy night's sleep, but it's probably best to lock your door just in case the culprit is still on the loose! The Murder Mystery is $25/couple.
The next morning, enjoy your choice of a sunny full breakfast entree (omelettes, biscuits & gravy - tall buttermilk biscuits that only a B&B can make and steaming hot sausage gravy over a fried egg and stone ground mustard or pancakes made with heavy cream, Indonesian cinnamon and almond emulsion). Breakfast is for every Guest is INCLUDED in the room rate. Breakfasts are served either in-room (breakfast-in-bed style) or in the main dining room. Breakfast serving times are flexible . . . anytime between 7:00am - 9:00am. But the fun doesn't stop there! Take yourself a snooze after breakfast! After breakfast is a perfect time for a late morning nap so you can hit the day well-rested and full of energy! Remember check-out isn't until noon and the Iron Gate Inn offers leisurely late checkouts until 4:00pm upon request.
